Shalisa Barton was born and raised in Napanee, Ontario on her family cash crop farm. Nursing was a path she was set on from a young age. Her interests in health, science, and advocacy contributed to her successful graduation from Queen’s University in 2021 with honours. Following her graduation she worked in Moose Factory, Ontario where she gained extensive experience in acute medical surgical care, emergency care, community health and wellness, end of life care, and dialysis. Upon her return to Napanee she recognized the various gaps in care that face local seniors. Stillwater support services is founded with the goal to help aging individuals manage their health and wellness on their own terms. Shalisa strives to treat each patient like her own loved ones, ensuring the highest quality of care and follow up.
